ABOUT ME
I'm a Filmmaker specialised in Producing and Editing.
I've graduated in Film Production from the Bournemouth Film School in 2018.
A great desire of mine is to transport the audience outside of their "bubble" and see the world from a wider perspective. Themes I'm passionate about are social issues, sustainability, travelling, nature and foreign cultures.
I was born in Milan. I moved to Hong Kong at the age of 15 where I lived for 3 years. This is where for the first time I saw things through "different lens". I started out making travelling videos, fascinated by the beauty of nature and foreign cultures. I then started creating fictional worlds through short movies and never stopped since.
Film Awards:
'Qui e Ora' has won Best Short Documentary at the Venice Short Film Festival, Silver Award at the Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles, has been selected at the Short and Sweet Festival in Utah and First-Time Filmmakers session in London.
'Una Tradizione di Famiglia' has been selected at the Zerotrenta, FiatiCorti, and Marcellus Mini Film Festival.
'Dorsia' is currently running at festivals, it's been selected at: ONE SHOT Terrassa City of Film, One Take Film Festival, Castelli Romani Film Festival Internazionale, Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno, Asti Film Festival, Lonely Wolf: London International Film Festival
Besides filmmaking and photography I dedicate my self to writing, particularly poetry. A little achievement of mine has been having one of my poems being published in a poetry collection in Italy.
